Last wedding of 2014…. And my first wedding of 2015. This one is a treat…. It involves mistletoe, a tiny bit of snow, 2 days, fireworks, lanterns and tons of happiness.
Maria’s and Sjur’s engagement story gives me shivers. As Maria had a vacation in Turkey, she had her fortune told. Sitting on the beach enjoying life and a nice cup of coffee to the last sip, When the cup was empty, someone came and turned the cup on its head, then she was predicted in the coffee grounds, This is a ancient Turkish tradition. And one of the thing that was “seen” was that she would be married shortly to a strong man, that had lots of love of mother nature. Guess who was waiting for her with hands full of roses at the airport, when she came back to Norway? Sigh….
Maria and Sjur was married in there own living room at Villa Sorgenfri, under the mistletoe with there family present, The mistletoe maria got from her grandparents garden, witch had a very strong meaning, when just a few days later, just before the wedding, Maria’s grandpa passed away. A beautiful memory from her beloved grandfather.
Day two, was time for Portraits and party in the new year with all there friends. What a way to welcome the new year.
